IBPSIA Certified
Artesia Bowling Proshop and Supply was opened to the public on September 1st, 2025 to help all bowlers improve their game and craft through full customization of what each bowler needs.
Custom fitting, layouts, drilling, plugging and re-drilling, and surface changes is performed by IBPSIA Certified driller Jonathan "Jon" Caballeros.

Custom Fitting, Drilling, and
Interchangeables
The best fit is one based on you.
When it comes to bowling your best game possible, a custom fit will allow your hand to hold the ball with minimal effort, allowing the ball to work for you.

Custom Drilling can be done in many grip types!
From the traditional thumb-in style to the newer no-thumb style and from conventional depth to fingertip, and the many different styles in-between, we can custom fit your ball to best suit your style.
Plugging and re-drilling is offered too! Secondhand or just wanting to try a new layout is possible!
We offer interchangeable thumbs as well, from VISE IT, Turbo and JoPo.
Sanding, Polishing, Resurfacing,
Oil Removal
Giving your ball the right treatments for maximum performance.
​It is recommended to sand and/or polish a ball after 30-60 games to keep the ball's motion in great condition.
A resurface goes deeper into the ball, bringing back more reaction, for older balls to return to it's original finish.

Reactive resin balls can soak up oil and lose its hook due to saturation of the cover, over time. After a season of bowling (~90 games,) it is recommended to get your ball tested for oil removal. Testing is free at ABPS.
Testing is appox. 15 minutes, full oil removal is approx. two hours.

Different conditions call for different bowling balls, and different approaches can call different shoe soles, heels and possibly sliders. Storing equipment is also based on your wants and needs.
